Privacy
Sanék doesn’t collect any data about you. This page says exactly what happens to data in the app and on this website.
Who is responsible
Sanék and this website are published by Anna Dmitrieva, Entrepreneur individuel (micro-entreprise), 26 rue Bosquet, 75007 Paris, France. For anything about your data, write to hello@anyadmitrieva.com.
The app
There is no account. Your picks and your settings are stored only on your iPhone and are never sent to us. Sanék has no analytics and no advertising, and it doesn’t track you across apps or websites.
Weather. If you allow location access, Sanék asks Apple Weather for the current weather at your approximate location (accurate to a few kilometres). Apple’s handling of it is described in Apple’s privacy policy. Sanék keeps only a rough area, that location rounded to whole degrees, about 100 km, on your iPhone, to work out the sun and the sky. It is never sent anywhere. You can turn location off in Settings; Sanék then deletes the rough area the next time it opens, and works without it.
The sky. The Moon, the stars and the seasons are worked out on your iPhone from the date and that rough area, or your time zone without it. Nothing is looked up for them.
Alarms and the countdown. The morning alarm and the countdowns are set on your iPhone with the system’s alarms, notifications and Live Activities.
Purchases are handled by Apple. We don’t see your payment details.
If you delete the app, everything it stored is deleted with it.
This website
This website sets no cookies and has no analytics, no advertising and no content loaded from other companies: the fonts and the pictures come from the site itself. That is why there is no cookie banner.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States). Like any web host, Vercel’s servers receive your IP address, the page you ask for and your browser’s type when they send you a page, and keep them for a short time in technical logs to deliver the site and keep it secure. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don’t use these logs to identify you and we keep no copy of them. Vercel processes this data in the United States and elsewhere under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
If you write to us
When you email us, we use your address and your message to answer you, and keep the exchange for up to twelve months after our last reply (our legitimate interest in following up on requests).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict its use or object to it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@anyadmitrieva.com; we answer within one month.
You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country. In France that is the CNIL: cnil.fr.
Changes
If this page changes, the date below changes with it. If a new version of the app handles data differently, this page is updated before that version is released.
